Australian Cate Blanchett is simply stunning, and she also happens to be a brilliant actress and one of my favorites. Though a striking blonde in real life, it occurred to me that Cate's played more onscreen redheads so far than any actual redheads have! She looked so divine as Elizabeth I in the film 'Elizabeth,' and might I take this opportunity to say she was absolutely robbed of a Best Actress Oscar for that part. Instead it went to Gwyneth Paltrow for 'Shakespeare In Love' (Ok so clearly I've yet to get over that). Here at Red Poppy we crown Cate an honorary redhead for her services to gingerhood, and boy does she look glorious in it....
