Now let's get on with it...........Julianne Moore is one of those rare redhead actresses who is actually a redhead, with freckles, and knows what colors look amazing on her. She also happens to be talented and gorgeous, and has an equally gorgeous family to match. A star of such films as The Big Lebowski, The End of the Affair, and The Hours, Julianne is also a fashion darling most likely to be wearing her favorite designers such as Yves Saint Laurent on the red carpet.

Mulberry Oversized Maggie Clutch (FOR SALE: Email me to enquire)

Finally, after an eventful Friday evening and Sat...I am have the time to take some pics of my Mulberry online pre-sale purchase:-P

So without further ado...presenting my very good bargain...Mulberry Oversized Maggie Clutch! Clutches are my new found interest and since there's even affirmation that they are coming back in men's collection (Dries Van Noten/Gucci Fall Winter Mens Collection and of course Dolce & Gabbana's abundant flaunting of man clutches for Spring Summer 2010), I am loving them more.

I was originally contemplating choosing the oversized Ava Clutch in Snakeskin but after much thought, I decided it was too flat and will not hold as much as I would like to carry. And the format kinda resembles my Balenciaga Envelope Clutch and hence I passed. Bayswater Oversized Clutch came to mind as my next alternative, but the giant Mulberry turnlock buckle was too distinctive and I decided to pass as well. (It was sold out anyway). I kept browsing online till this oversized Maggie clutch caught my eye. Understated, simple and neutral which will work very well on a guy. And being in black, it's the perfect colour to pass off as a man's bag. The subtle contrast of the cracked leather and the polished creased leather is interesting without overbearing. I also like the gunmetal buckle in the front, which is much smaller and less loud than Bayswater's. There is even allowance to buckle at different levels to accommodate the bag contents. The clutch when held on hand looks slouchy which is very chic.

I would use this for nice dinners, parties or attending events:-) would look great with a black blazer, skinny Balmain biker jeans...exciting! Modelling pics below:-P

I can't wait for winter to do layering, and of course the holidays that's going to follow:-) Perhaps London? Perhaps Switzerland? I am excited.

COACH Poppy

COACH has managed to positively reinvent itself over the past several years, though i really wish they'd do away with the eyesore C logo print which is obnoxiously splattered over way too many of their bags. But I digress.... COACH is debuting a brand new line in July called POPPY (perfect name I say!). The colorful and price conscious line, which is trying to appeal to a younger and more hip audience, is full of sequined handbags, shoes, jewelry, and accessories. As a self-imposed stranger to Coach bags, however, I have to admit I'm already quite positively taken with a few.....

Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Leather Flat Card Case

My latest 50% sale acquisition from Wednesday's 'becos I am bored so I shop' shopping expedition.

Fortunately, this piece of flat credit card case has been on my buying list for a long time now, just that I was unwilling to fork out the full price to buy from any brand. So when Bottega Veneta goes on 50% off and in a fabulous olive green colour, with intrecciato woven leather design, I know it's time to add this to my shopping conquest. Shave another SGD$60 off by using my Takashimaya vouchers, it becomes a 'sin' not to bring this home. Hence, I did, for sake of not commiting 'shopping blasphemy'!

Handy and pretty Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Leather Flat Card Case:-) The leather is divine. Holds 6 cards and a middle compartment for receipts while retaining its slim and compactness. Especially handy when carrying a clutch bag.

I am happy as a bee to bag a good deal:-P
